I will not let it get to me

It’s me fighting against me and I am going to
win, I cannot tell you when but I can promise you
I will try harder, it would get easier, I promise you
I would not give up the fight,

I only have a chronic illness but it’s not going to
get me down, I will not let it get in my way, I will
let go of all the guilt, I have the courage of letting
go of what I cannot not control, life is so short

Don’t look at me with disbelief , look at me as
who I use to be, it’s me still inside this body of
mines, I am filled with lots of love and fighting
hard to get well from inside, I will not let it get
to me down
