Your Pain

You may look at me and See my pain, yet you look away,

I was not born this way
I know your concern is for my well being

Yet you cannot bring your eyes to see the tears, that’s pouring from my soul

You walk away and close the universe between us

You cannot bear to see my tearful soul, because it’s been through too many thorns, you cannot heal my pain, there is no cure for it.
