Dance the night away

I thought I lost it, it felt like broken pieces

I could not see beyond the walls

That shield my view yet keep on moving

I gaze to the horizon and upon the unknown

My wings were clipped

My heart was filled with sadness as the clouds lurk above

I was afraid of life

Deep in my heart I knew my story can always go on

I learned to breathe

The clouds have gone

Broken loose from the chains holding me back down

Life moves on, so should I
