Empathy is pain

Empathy means joy

Empathy has a lot of meaning

Like sorrow

It’s like childish eyes staring deep into your soul

It knows about a mother’s pain

It knows it’s not worth dying for

Empathy is invisible

Empathy is a whisper, spoken softly in the cold air

Would it bring world peace if empathy was used

I salute the brave soldiers, whose souls are lost

Why can we not put ourselves in others’ shoes

It does not prove justice or provide a peaceful world

We are humans in the end

Why do we hide when someone breaks our heart

Where is the empathy in war

Can we not have love and world peace

Where has the love gone
