Another sleepless night

Every sleepless night and day that goes
by, I daydream about the secrets I hold
in my heart

As the the moon moves in,restlessly
I turn and toss but cannot close my eyes
It’s so cold tonight

The sun has gone down long time, I
am stuck once again, my eyes. are
wide awake, thoughts wonder restlessly
in my mind

finding hard to relax, my thoughts
keep me awake all night
Tossing and turning , wonder if
I would would get any sleep,
tonight as dawn starts creeping
in

Before my eyes close, I look
out the window, I realise how
restless and lonely midnights can
be, I close my eyes and go to
Sleep
