Childhood

Since childhood I loved to write poems

To me it brings peace and harmony

Through poetry I could touch the heart of life

And reach up to the stars

To the world I live in: I will not hide anymore

I am not ashamed of having Parkinson’s

It’s been my close companion for the past years

And will be my close enemy for years ahead
