Lock down

It’s difficult , we had forgotten how
beautiful is the sound of birds singing,
how green the parks are and how well
they have been looked after, how pressured
the doctors are under

We took for guaranteed the freedom of
just walking out side with out thinking,
Now a days we have to stand 2 feet apart,
queuing out side certain shops for hours

It’s looks so depressing going shopping,
cause most of them are closed and staffs out of
jobs, we created this mess, is human error

I feel very lonely, no one body comes
around, I am not the only one, I prey
lockdown ends soon, like tomarrow, it
would take ages for life to go back to
normal, I will be glad when it’s over

So many people have died, there is
an awful atmosphere when you go out,
slowly slowly we are understanding the
damaged this lockdown has done, people
hiding in side their homes , i look forward
to the day it’s safe to go out , don’t have
to wear funny mask and gloves, look
forward to the day there is no more
